Job Description

We are looking for a Brand Manager to support in the planning, management, and control of the biggest Own Brand, its assortment, and products. Being a part of a very strategic area of the business - the Own Brands Food team - you will be one of the main drivers in bringing us to the next level, thus, having a great impact on zooplus' success.
Are you ready for this challenge?

As a Brand Manager, you will be involved in:

  • Implementation, execution, and follow-up of the brand’s product and promotion strategy in coordination with the Senior Product Manager.
  • NPD (New product development) and coordinating dedicated projects from idea to launch incl. concepts and design in collaboration with pet food scientists, engineers, and agencies.
  • Continuous key figure analysis as well as optimization with priority on turnover, volume, and margin – and implement conclusions proactively into daily work.
  • Control of promotional initiatives and derivation of recommendations for action to achieve the respective targets.
  • Continuous e-commerce site maintenance and optimization for the brand in the sense of increasing customer satisfaction and quality assurance.

Qualifications

  • University degree in economics preferably with a focus on business administration/marketing.
  • 2 to 3 years of professional experience and passion for brand and product management in FMCG, retail, or pet food.
  • Profound Project Management skills to support and lead New Product Development processes.
  • Knowledge of the marketing mix and brand tools.
  • Analytical skills combined with the ability to cope with complex and large data volumes.
  • Experience in the cooperation and management of external service providers like agencies.
  • Very good command of written and spoken English.
  • Expert knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
  • Hands-on mentality and flexibility. Constructive networker.
  • Takes responsibility for the quality of all deliverables, contributes to doing things better and faster.
  • Obtains leader mindset, owns it, drives it. Sees opportunities to fix/ improve processes, and drives stakeholders to support and deliver this change.
