  • Level 5: $73,508 to $83,130 + 17% superannuation

The Faculty of Science, Medicine and Health (SMAH) comprises the Schools of Chemistry and Molecular Bioscience (SCMB), Earth, Atmospheric and Life Sciences (SEALS), Medicine (SOM) (incorporating Graduate Medicine [GM], Exercise Sciences and Nutrition and Dietetics) and the School of Nursing (SON).

Effective and efficient student placement processes underpin a number of the Faculty’s programs. Accordingly, the student placement processes and systems are critical to the achievement of its teaching and learning objectives and positive student experience.

This position provides administrative support for the delivery of the workplace experience requirements for students studying a course offered by the Faculty of Science, Medicine and Health. Your strong interpersonal and client services skills combined with your demonstrated experience in implementing process improvements and ability to prioritise tasks whilst applying initiative, attention to detail and sound judgement will be key to your success in this role.

You may be required to work outside of standard business hours or across campuses and other UOW facilities and a flexible approach in regards to the location will be required. The position may be required to work from UOW Wollongong Campus or the Wollongong Hospital, depending on operational needs.

As this position will be required to attend Public Health Facilities the holder of this position is required to have completed an up-to-date course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). Evidence of vaccination is required unless evidence of a medical contraindication to be vaccinated against COVID-19 is presented. Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Proof of vaccination if available.
